Im an avid pitch player and this game is much like sitting at table with friends. I like that you can adjust low capturable and set he amount of players. The game is speedy and easy to handle the cards. The sounds are realistic and add to the game play. I have played the online version and glad to see they made an app for it. The best pitch game on the app store!

I downloaded 2 of the other pitch apps and was very dissapointed before coming across this one. Awesome! The computer players have superior strategies, there are sweet graphics/cool sound effects, and the interface is very easy to use. Nice work! I love it.

Pitch is a great game and this app really brings it to life. Fast and stable with excellent Ai. The graphics and sound are excellent and the interface is highly intuitive. I love the smart touches like the stats that keep track of your wins & losses. This app is very well done.

Finally, a quality game of pitch! Definitely the best pitch app available so far. Ive played two of the others, and they try to mimic other card games you see in the app store, but they miss the mark on presentation and require too many taps to advance gameplay. This version offers nice graphics and clear card presentation, and depending on where you come from, you can set the rules with all the right options.

Perfectly realistic in every way. I cant wait for the 9 card version to get created. Very well done app.

Great graphics, easy to play, awesome options, hilarious audio. I tried out two other pitch apps (ipitch and pitch mania) and both of them BLEW compared to PitchPlayer. Im a pitch addict and this app gets me by until I can get together with my friends and play for reals. Easy to learn to beginners. Do it. Do. It.

Addicted, would be perfect and 5 stars if it had teams with the computer and maybe more players, also add wifi and Bluetooth support

If I could play with my friends over wifi that would make this app perfect

Awesome gameplay and graphics. I think overall this is a slick app with a lot of promise. The AI is better in most situations than other games I have tried, but after playing for a couple days I cant help but notice how often a computer player will lead with the 2 of trump for no good reason, when other players still have trump to capture it - obviously this is with low capturable on. This needs to be fixed in order to make the game more realistic. Please add team (pair) play! Online play would be great too! Looking forward to future updates.

Would like to set game to have no trump on first round. Also would like to play teams with the computer character in 4 person game. Also WHAT is with the rule where the dealer of high and low get the points rather than who won it??? Takes all the strategy out of the game... Never seen it played that way

This app is nice but a few settings need to be added. 1) trump needs to be determined before play begins not upon first play. 2) computer partners. 3) redraw after trump is selected. If these options get addressed in the next update I will update my review.

While I agree with other reviewers that the game has settled on some specific rules that are not in universal use and it would be nice to have more user settings available (ESPECIALLY the ability to name trump but lead something else), this is a really fun, fast-paced game that is my current go-to app when I have 5 minutes to kill. Well worth the price.

Just discovered this app this weekend. Was great to pass the time on our rainy camping trip! Loved graphics & rules are just as I remembered playing in college. Would love to see: -Ability to enable Joker play for 5 Point games -Partner play It would get 5 starts with those changes. Otherwise, great!

This game is awful. The AI gets all of the top cards and when you bid the computer always outbids you with no hand. This is a waste of money and no fun. I want a refund!

Im a pretty good pitch player, so it bugged me that I wasnt doing better when playing this game. The seller states that the AI is "fiendishly clever." It appeared to me that I was getting worse cards than my opponents, so I played over 50 hands keeping track of how the cards were distributed. I only looked at the high value cards (tens through aces), but my suspicions were corroborated when I did the math. My opponents got better cards than me 15 percent of the time. Thats fiendishly clever all right, but dont buy this game if you want a fair deal.

I cant yell you how many times Ive sat on the bus wondering if Id ever play a real game of pitch like we used to play at my uncles in philly till I downloaded this app. Cant stop playing and already have my boyfriend rolling his eyes at me every time i start pretending Im listening to him when Im consumed in this game. If you dont have this you dont know what youre missing.

At first I thought I was crazy, so I started keeping my own score. The computer isnt always scoring accurately. Otherwise a decent game of setback (wish you could draw though).
